Privacy Policy

Become — last updated 5 August 2026

Become does not collect your data. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Become has no backend. We do not operate servers that receive your information, and we have no way to see what you write in the app.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in Become is stored in a database on your device:

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or share it.

Permissions

Calendar. Become asks for calendar access only when you save a task with “Add to calendar” enabled. It is used solely to create the event you asked for. Become does not read, modify, or transmit your existing calendar events. If you decline, every other feature continues to work.

Sharing and export

Become can generate a PDF summary of a month and hand it to your device’s standard share sheet. What happens next is entirely your choice — the app does not upload it anywhere. If you share it into another app or service, that destination’s privacy policy governs it from that point on.

Third parties

Become contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party tracking of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is measured or reported.

Children

Become does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected or transmitted at all, there is nothing to collect from a child using the app.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app from your device permanently deletes all data it stored. There is no server-side copy, so there is nothing else to request or erase. We cannot recover your data for you, because we never had it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a revised “last updated” date. Because Become collects nothing, we do not expect material changes.
